Barefoot Doctors School Launches in 2 weeks!!!

We are very excited that the Barefoot Doctors School will launch in just two short weeks!

The teaching schedule is coming together very nicely, and we are thrilled with the many qualified instructors who are willing to come for a week or more of teaching.  Included in this list are: Dr. Jim Winter, David Crist, Rick and Alice Astone, Lindsey Condra, Dr. Bjorn Nilson, Cyril Thomas, Dr. Dave Brumwell, Dr. Susan McDowell, Dr. Jim and Gail Buie, Dr. Charles Steinberg, Dawngliana Zongte, Dr. Joseph Nawrocki, and Jon Ulm.

God has laid it upon their hearts to share their knowledge and expertise with the 21 students who are coming from Burma for this first year of their training.  The students are currently in Yangon getting their visas, and we pray everything goes smoothly so they can arrive in Chiang Mai on January 18th or before.  Orientation and Bible teaching begin on January 20th, then the Medical training begins on January 27th.

Funds are continuing to come in both for school expenses and for the medical tools we need to supply our students with as they study to become Barefoot Doctors.  We are so grateful to the churches, non-profits, companies, and individuals who are supporting this important work.  If you would like to send in a contribution for the Barefoot Doctors school, please see the information on the sidebar.
